Actors Varun Dhawan and his filmmaker Rohit Dhawan were seen at a funeral in Mumbai on Wednesday. The brothers were there for the funeral of their driver, affectionately known as ‘Manoj Dada’.
Manoj died of a heart attack on Tuesday. According to reports, Manoj Varuna took Mehboob to the studio for a promotional shoot and later complained of chest pain. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Later on Wednesday, Rohit was seen at the hospital with Manoj’s family holding a boy on his shoulder.
Varun regretted the loss of Manoj Sahu and said that he will always be remembered for his “humor and enthusiasm”. Varun took to Instagram on Wednesday and posted a video with Manoj from an event in Madame Duchatz in Hong Kong, who introduced him to the crowd.
The 34-year-old actor said Sahu was devastated by the loss as it was a part of his life.
“Manoj has been in my life for the last 26 years. He is everything to me. I have no words to express my grief, but all I want is for people to remember him for his amazing intelligence and humor and the interest he had in life,” he said. Wrote. “I will always be grateful to have Manoj Dada you in my life,” he added.
Many industry colleagues including actor Arjun Kapoor, Ayushman Khurana, Bhoomi Bednekar, Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon paid tributes to Dhawan.
