Filmmaker Karan Johar has announced the title change of Madhuri Dixie’s first internet show, Finding Anamika. After the teaser was released in September last year, the show is now titled The Fame Game.
Actor Anamika Anand will be seen in the role of Bollywood star in the show which will be released on Netflix on February 25th. Sharing the poster on social media, Karan wrote, “There is always a hidden truth behind fame and screen. Star. What is this reality in the life of Bollywood’s biggest star Anamika Anand? Find out more soon. The Fame Game series will only be screened on Netflix on February 25th!”
The poster shows the anxious Madhuri in the center, surrounded by scenes of his co-stars Sanjay Kapoor, Manav Kaul, Laxveer Charan and Muskhan Jaffrey. Suhasini Mule also plays a major role in the show.
Madhuri, who is more open about her character Anamika, wrote on her Instagram account, “Ajnabi C Hai Uski Duniya. Angahi C Hai Uski Kahani. Bur up wo aa rahi hai apni kahani laker dunia ke samne (her world is like a stranger, her story is unheard of. But now she comes before the world with her story) ”
The Fame Game was previously named Finding Anamika. The show is said to be a rollercoaster ride through the ups and downs of the life of superstar Anamika (played by Madhuri), revealing hidden truths and painful lies. It reads, “Bollywood icon Anamika Anand has it all, but was her life right or properly designed? In a world of glow, glamor and fame – the lines of what is real and what is not are often blurred.”

Sri Rao has written the story of The Fame Game directed by Bijay Nambiar and Karisma Kohli. Madhuri last starred in the 2019 film Kalang. She was also a judge on the dance reality show, Dance Deewane.
