Swetha Tripathi Sharma: The stage gave me my husband | Internet series

On World Drama Day, the actor spoke to us about how he met her husband rapper Chaitanya Singh, popularly known as Slow Cheetah.

Actress Swetha Tripathi Sharma, who owns a theater company today, has a special relationship with the stage. Two plays, in particular, gave her wings to dream of becoming an actor. When we catch her on World Drama Day, she tells us, “I remember watching a play starring Yashpal Sharma (actor). There was a scene at the top of a train and I fell in love with it. Then Shyamak Tawar danced and I remember very clearly a concert called Graffiti directed by Roshan Abbas.

But the biggest gift the stage gave her was her husband, rap singer Saitanya Sharma, popularly known as Slow Cheetah. They first met during a play. “The wonderful thing the stage gave me was my husband. We are submissive to a play. Two actors were not available and we both had to enter, ”the 36-year-old actor recalled.

He shared that he proposed marriage on the stage of a popular comics and social arena in Mumbai. Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein actor says, “We chatted on the way back from Delhi. In a week, we started dating, and it’s been almost nine years now. In fact, the stage is so important to us that a stage cheetah of the Cuckoo Club (Mumbai) proposed to me.

One of her biggest desires is to travel the world and catch as many musicals and stage plays as possible with her husband. “Cheetah and I continue to argue that we like to travel around the world and watch different shows. It’s important to be inspired. This idea came from (Kunal) Kemmu and Soha (Ali Khan), and they do it,” says Sharma.

Is the play she and Slow Cheetah are getting ready for? “I look forward to playing with him. Rehearsals are so much fun! She ends with a laugh.
