The country song of the RRR film was filmed in Ukraine last year. In a press conference on Tuesday, Rajamouli said he was devastated to learn what the country had endured through the war. Calling it a beautiful country, the filmmaker said, “We went there to shoot some important scenes. When we were filming, I had no idea about the issues that have now turned into war. It was only after I came back and looked at things now that I realized the seriousness of the problem.

When asked if he was in touch with the Ukrainian film crew who worked on the film, Rajamouli said he had inquired. “I inquired about the well-being of those who worked with us during the filming in Ukraine. Some of them are fine and some I still need to contact. We hope to get in touch soon, ”he said.

As part of the conversation, Ram Charan told a man who had given them protection in Ukraine that his 85-year-old father had deposited some money when he was involved in the war.

RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, starring Jr. NDR and Ram Charan, was slated for a worldwide release on January 7. The release was postponed due to a sudden increase in cases related to Govt-19 across the country. The film is finally set to release on March 25 in theaters around the world.

In RRR, Junior NDR shares screen space with Ram Charan for the first time. The film is a fictional story set in the pre-independence 1920s, and is based on the lives of two real heroes and well-known revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Beam.

Translated and released in Hindi, the film stars Ajay Devgan, Alia Bhatt, Samuthirakani and Shriya Charan in the lead roles.
