RRR box office week 1 gross: Hindi edition beats Suryavanshi, The Kashmir Files grossed ₹ 132 crore in its first week


The Hindi version of RRR continues to be a success at the box office for its first week. SS Rajamouli’s own film Bhagwati: The Beginning and Suryavanshi and The Kashmir Piles broke the first week’s collection. It is a fictional story of Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Beem (Jr. NDR) fighting against the British rule. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan in minor roles. It has been well received by critics and filmmakers alike.

According to Boxofficeindia.com, the Hindi version of the film was charged 11.50 crore net on Thursday Net 132 crore. The report adds, “The first week confirmed that the film was a hit, and now the second Friday the film will raise a level.”

RRR’s first week collections are higher than the first week collections of other post-epidemic blockbusters like Akshay Kumar’s Suryavanshi. The Kashmir Piles collected Rs 120.66 crore 97.30 crore and Ganguly screaming 68.93 crore in the first week in theaters. However, RRR, Spider-Man: No Way Home, is behind the English version of the collection. 148.07 crore in the first week in India.

According to a tweet from film business analyst Manopala Vijayapalan on Thursday, the film’s six-day global gross is almost 700 crore.
