Radhe Shyam, starring Prabhas, will hit theaters on March 11. The run time of the film has now been reduced to 12 minutes.
Prabhas’ upcoming Telugu romantic drama Radhe Shyam hits screens worldwide on Friday, which has been cut to 12 minutes before its release. Although the makers have not yet made any official announcement regarding the trim, the timing on the ticket booking websites has confirmed it. A few weeks ago, when Radhe Shyam’s censor certificate was leaked on social media, it was mentioned that its run-time was 150 minutes. Now it has been changed to 138 minutes.
Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the multi-lingual love story centered on Europe in the 1970s stars Prabhas in a fingerprint role. Pooja Hegde also plays the music teacher in the film.
Filmed in Italy, Georgia and Hyderabad, Radhe Shyam incorporates large-scale set pieces and visual effects technology. Amitabh Bachchan has become the narrator for Radhe Shyam which will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Commenting on Amitabh’s involvement as narrator for the project, Radha Krishna Kumar said in a statement: “The film was made in the 1970s and was shot on a massive scale. We need a voice that can command the nation, and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, the voice that everyone recognizes, respects and most importantly loves. Amitabh Bachchan is also currently working with Prabhas on director Knock on Project Gay. Deepika Padukone made her Telugu debut with this film produced by Vijayanthi Films.
