New leak reveals that Dr. Strange in the Multiverses of Madness will be introduced to the new Wolverine MCU | Hollywood

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to become one of the biggest crossover films in Marvel history. The film is set to introduce many familiar actors and characters and is rumored to have variations of many iconic Marvel characters. Spider-Man: The film deals with the aftermath of Dr. Strange’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) multitasking fracture spell from No Way Home.

A new leak reveals that X-Men Wolverine is one of the characters featured in Multiverse of Madness. Actor Hugh Jackman played the character for two decades from X-Men (2000) to Logan (2017). However, according to the new leak, Dr. Strange will be playing Wolverine as a completely new actor in the sequel.

Movie insider Josep Deklemer tweeted Sunday, “We’ll be watching Wolverine #DoctorStrangeInTheMultiverseOfMadness but it certainly will not be Hugh Jackman.” This led to fans guessing who the new Wolverine actor was with names like Daniel Radcliffe and Cal Todd.

Other leaks and rumors suggest that there will be several stars in the film, especially Tom Cruise starring in the Iron Man version, Ryan Reynolds re-playing his role as Deadpool and John Krossinski introducing the new version of Mr. Fantastic. The film’s new trailer, as Professor X, also appeared to welcome Patrick Stewart. Patrick and Hugh co-starred for the entire length of the X-Men franchise.

In the trailer, a voice that sounds like Patrick’s voice is heard with a baldness that is somewhat displayed from behind. This was seen by many as confirming Patrick’s return as an iconic character. However, the actor himself made the matter vague. In a recent interview he did not confirm or deny his participation in the film. “You know, people have been following my voice since I came on stage 60 years ago. So, I’m not responsible for that,” he told ComicBook.com.
