Neetu Kapoor remembers her late husband Rishi Kapoor with a sweet Instagram post on their wedding anniversary. “Remember,” he wrote with a heart emoji, sharing honest pictures of them sharing their laughter.
Photos from Rishi and Neetu’s appearance on the Kapil Sharma show a few years ago. Their daughter Rithima Kapoor Sahni and Maheep Kapoor have posted heart emojis. The fans also showered love. One wrote “for the most beautiful couples”, one picked up a snack, and another said, “This is one of the most beautiful episodes I’ve ever seen … you two are original lovers”.
Rhythm also congratulated Rishi and Neetu on their anniversary through Instagram Stories. Rhythma shared a picture of Neetu’s hands around Rishi and added a heart emoji.
On the Kapil Sharma show, while filming Kabhi Kabhi in Srinagar, Neetu revealed that Rishi had confessed his feelings to her in a telegram sent from Paris.
Rishi and Neetu were married in 1980. When their son Ranbir Kapoor followed in their footsteps to become an actor, Rhythma got distracted and became a jewelery designer.
Rishi died on April 30, 2020 after a two-year struggle with cancer. You will often share records about him. On his birthday last year, when he underwent chemotherapy in New York, he talked a lot about their ‘last few traumatic years’.
