Nayanthara Chiranjeevi’s Godfather ended filming, director Mohan Raja said, ‘It is no less than pure happiness’


Nayanthara completes her role in Chiranjeevi’s Telugu political drama The Godfather. The film’s director Mohan Raja tweeted that he was happy to work with Nayanthara for the third time in a row.

In The Godfather for the remake of Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer, Nayanthara is playing the role of Manju Warrior again from the original film. He joined the set in September 2021 and starred opposite Satyadev in the film.

Mohan Raja tweeted: “An important schedule with Lady Superstar #Nayanthara for our #Godfather is over today. This is no less than the joy and satisfaction of working with him for the third time in a row.

Along with the tweet, Mohan also shared a picture with Nayanthara from the set.

Mohan Raja has returned to Telugu cinema after ten years with the film The Godfather. Salman Khan is said to be making a special appearance in the film.

Meanwhile, Nayanthara is looking forward to the release of her upcoming Tamil romantic comedy, Kaathu Vakkula Rendu Kadhal, directed by her boyfriend Vignesh Sivan. Kaathu Vakkula Rendu Kaadhal is a mild comedy about the triangular romance between Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha.

The film stars Vijay and Samantha as Rambo and Khadija respectively. Nayanthara plays the character of Kanmani. The film marks the reunion of Vignesh, Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara after their previous film Nanu Rowdy. Anirudh Ravichandran has composed the music for this.

Chiranjeevi, on the other hand, is waiting for the release of the upcoming Telugu film Acharya. The film stars Ram Charan in the lead role.
