My aim is to make a lot of short films: Rajesh Thailang | Internet series

The actor feels the need for a creative person to engage in as many art forms as possible

Last month actor Rajesh Thailang released his eighth short film Selfie with music based on a poem. Also, besides acting, he says he wants to focus on directing short films that will help him express himself. “Short films are a great way to tell a story because you can tell what you want on a limited budget and in the short term. Even if I have 15 days free, I can easily create one. I can make four or five short films a year, ”he shares. My aim is to continue to make a lot of short films. ”

Ask him a quiz if directing a film is questionable, and he says, “I thought of making at least one film in my life. But due to its financial constraints this is not the time to dedicate three years of your life to it. Also, acting is my first love and I can’t help but do it all day long. ”

However, the actor of Delhi Crime and Pandit Bandits says that he never relied solely on acting. He elaborates, “When you enter other creative fields, it helps you survive. I wrote, directed, and taught, all of which ultimately helped my acting. When my acting career was not in good shape, these things helped me emotionally and financially.

Thailang considers it essential for a creator to engage in as many art forms as possible. “When it comes to multiple creative disciplines, it helps you learn to appreciate and develop skills. It’s important to explore across disciplines. We all have potential; we all need to explore,” he concludes.
