London Files Teaser: Arjun Rampal plays a detective who finds himself in the middle of a deadly secret while trying to solve the disappearance of a young woman.

The teaser of the thriller web series London Files starring Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli was released on Friday. The thriller series is set in the United Kingdom and finds a detective battling his own ghosts while trying to find a missing child. The series looks at Arjun returning to OTT media a year later. A one-minute teaser for the show, which aired on streaming service Wood Select’s YouTube channel, introduces Arjun, who looks like detective Om Singh, who is investigating the disappearance of businessman Amar Roy (Purab Kohli). We get a glimpse of Purab slapping a woman. In the trailer Arjun is shown getting clues about a deep mystery or secret hidden beneath the closet.

As a montage shows Arjun’s interrogation of the dark case, he calls the text show on screen a story of lies, secrets and redemption. The teaser ends with Arjun – filmed from the back – looking at a map of London.

According to the show’s official summary, murder detective Om Singh follows the case of a missing person in the politically divided city of London. Om is battling with his own demons and is forced to accept the case of the disappearance of the daughter of media tycoon Amar Roy (Purab). Amar has been a divisive figure in London since backing a tough anti-immigration bill. As Om begins to investigate the case, a dark mystery comes to light. One that threatens to expose buried secrets and Omin’s suppressed past.

London Files stars Sapna Puppy, Mehta Rana, Gopal Dutt, Sagar Arya and Eva Jane Willis in the lead roles. Directed by Sachin Pathak and produced by Jar Pictures, the six-episode series will be screened on April 21 on Wood Select.
