Filmmaker Karan Johar shared some pictures of Gucci Fox on a feathered jacket on Instagram on Thursday, but fellow filmmaker and friend Farah Khan was only roasted for his fashion choice. She compared his dress to an ostrich. Karan posted his photos on the carousel. In one photo, he is standing with a picture frame near one wall, and in the other, he is posing on a nearby sidewalk.

Karan titled the post, “Corridors of Claridges and Kochhar! In @gucci”. In the pictures, Karan Chunky wears red boots, dark trousers, a feathered jacket and shades. Her dress, especially the jacket, became the subject of controversy among Netizens. Farah Khan was one of the first to troll Karan for the jacket. “This ostrich dress cries for a video,” he commented in the post.
Farah was not the only one who roasted the car for her fancy dress. The fans joined very quickly. One person compared his sarorial selection to Ranveer Singh’s luxurious appearance and commented, “Of soon Ranveer Singh Panne Vale Ho (you will soon become Ranveer Singh).” Others compared the jacket to a bear. “Balu aya (bear is here),” someone joked.
However, many fans and celebrities praised Karan’s appearance and her fashion choices. Ekta Kapoor and Twinkle Khanna dropped heart emojis when a fan commented, “Oh my, you stole our hearts”.
Karan and Farah recently engaged in a similar teasing while trolling each other outfits on the sets of a reality show called HonorPass. Karan was the judge of the show and Farah appeared as the guest judge last week. During the episode, Karan called Farah’s dress ‘a dot in pink’ and Farah dug Karan’s black dress and responded. “I like to be bright. You know, in Kovit, people wear black and dull colors and d’digor clothes,” he said.
Karan shares Hunerboss’ panel of judges with Mithun Chakraborty and Parineeti Chopra. He is all set to return to film directing after Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016). The film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles and Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan in the supporting roles.
