The song O Andawa, shot on Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Allu Arjun from the movie Pushpa: The Rise, has been making waves since its release late last year. The emotional dance composition of the song was appreciated by the fans.
In a recent conversation, Ganesh Acharya, the choreographer of the song, spoke about how desperate Allu Arjun and the producers of the film were to make him dance to the song. He expressed that he wanted to skip the song because he had to have cataract surgery, but the makers of the film were able to convince his doctor to postpone the surgery.
Speaking to e-Times, Ganesh said, “So, the film was released on December 17th, Allu Arjun called me on the 2nd or 3rd, Masterji we want to sing a song, that’s all. I told him, it is in short notice. I have cataract surgery tomorrow The producers talked to the doctor and changed the date and invited me to dance to the song.
Talking about the erotic dance of the song, Ganesh said that he did not believe in expressing it and was lucky to be able to bring that eroticism through the attitudes of Allu Arjun and Samantha.
“There are different ways to show eroticism. I do not believe in expressing too much. Even if a woman lifts her sari a little from her leg, it looks sexy. The attitude of showing emotional appearance is enough. Both Samantha and Allu Arjun brought a certain attitude to the song, which is why this song works so well. I think O. Andawa is Samantha’s first special dance.
