Closed theaters hurt, but we’re optimistic: Abhishek Chauhan | Internet series

Actor Abhishek Chauhan is happy to join the entertainment industry at the right time

Actor Abhishek Chauhan is happy to join the entertainment industry at the right time.

“Being in the right place at the right time really summarizes my life for now. If I had not acted in selective roles, it would have been definitely different for a newcomer like me. The same is true for the film Bahut Hua Samman, which I starred in with Misra).

The young actor is eager to see theatrical revival soon. He says, “I will be a dedicated playwright for the rest of my life. For me, being on stage is more than just hosting a show for a live audience. Unfortunately, the theater has been badly affected by the continuing epidemic of refusal to die. In theater, business is always on the low side, but with lockdowns, finances have become a complete toss. It hurts, but we hope not to lose too much.

Chauhan is currently in his hometown of Dehradun. “A few days ago my shooting was over and I came home thinking I would get a break, but as the cases were increasing I soon realized that my shooting for this month had been postponed, so I was at rest. The new variant is very high, so it is better to be safe than sorry. I am enjoying heavy snowfall here in Uttarakhand with my family. I miss this weather when I am at work in Mumbai.

With the second season of his series hitting the OTT platform recently, Chauhan is also looking forward to launching new projects. “Kubigals-2 was released on time and has been well received by the audience. Next, there are two series with a film coming to the screen in 2022. A large number of cases have definitely pushed my schedule and now let’s see how things turn out, ”he says.
