The trailer of the upcoming Telugu movie Bimala Nayak starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Takupathi has been released recently. Through the video released on Monday night, the film evokes the leading characters in the battle between power and duty.

Bimala Nayak is the official remake of the Malayalam film Ayyappan and Koshy, which tells the story of its title characters Ayyappan Nair and Koshy Kurien. They lock the horns on an incident and their ego takes them on a wild journey.

Biju Menon played Ayyappan Nair, a policeman with impeccable records, while Prithviraj Sukumaran was seen as Koshi Kurien, a retired Army Havildar who served for 16 years.

Pawan Kalyan will play the role of Ayyappan Nair played by Biju Menon and Rana Tagupathi will play the role of Prithviraj. This is the first time the two have appeared on screen together.

Bimala Nayak, directed by Sagar K Chandra, is set to release worldwide on February 25. It stars Nithya Menon, Murali Sharma and Samyukta Menon in the lead roles. Composed by SS Daman. The film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi on behalf of Siddhartha Entertainments.

Last week, Pawan Kalyan finished shooting for Bhimla Nayak. On Twitter, Sagar shared a photo of himself and Pavan from the set. He added, “This is a wrap for Bimla Nayak filming # BheemlaNayakOn25th.

Ayyappan and Koshy came out as a box office hit, starring as the father of director Ranjith Prithviraj. Gauri Nanda and Anna Reshma Rajan played the lead roles. Ayyappan and Koshy are said to have won at the box office 30 crore.

The film is being remade in Tamil with Sasikumar and Sarathkumar in the lead roles. Producer Kathiresan has acquired the rights to the Tamil remake. Ayyappan and Koshy are being remade in Hindi by Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakthi with John Abraham and Arjun Kapoor.
