Anurag Kashyap denies rumors about Sacred Games 3, calls ‘scammer’: ‘I file FIR’ | Internet series

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap shared a post on Sunday calling himself a ‘scammer’ about the fake casting call for another season of the Sacred Games show. On Instagram, Anurag revealed that he was filing an FIR against the person operating the account, which apparently was deactivated after the filmmaker’s post.

Anurag Kashyap rejected the post about possible Sacred Games 3 and said that no such show is in operation. Anurag said in his post, “This man Rajbir_casting is a scammer. Please report him. Season 3 scary games did not happen. I am registering an FIR against this person.” He shared the post on his Instagram story, writing, “Please beware of this fraudulent state. Nothing happened during Season 3 of the Sacred Games.”

Sacred Games is a crime thriller series directed by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Neeraj Kaiwan. The show was produced by Phantom Films, co-starring Anurag and Vikramaditya with Reliance Entertainment.

The series stars Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Girish Kulkarni, Neeraj Kabi and Jitendra Joshi in the lead roles. It stars Rajshree Deshpande, Karan Wahi, Sukmani Sadhana, Aamir Bashir, Jatin Sarna, Elnas Norosi, Pankaj Tripathi, Ame Waq, Kubra Said, Surveen Chawla, Kalki Kochlin, Ranveer Shorey and Amruta Subhash.

The first season of the eight-episode Sacred Games was released on Netflix in July 2018. The second season premiered in August 2019.

Meanwhile, Anurag recently teased a new project starring Kriti Sanon and producer-actor Nikhil Dwivedi. On Instagram, the director shared a black and white picture of a script working in his office. Sharing it, he wrote, “Another script .. another film .. ikhnikhildwivedi25 @kritsanon will start soon ..”
